Bachelor of Education (B.Ed-) :-
It is a 2 years bachelor degree required to become a teaching professional. The National Council of Teacher Education (NCTE) has made the B.Ed. degree mandatory for candidates who wish to teach at public schools at any level.
The B.Ed syllabus is continuously modified to ensure proper transfer of skills and knowledge to the B.Ed candidates.
To get entry to this course the candidates have to graduate before they can pursue the program. It must be noted that after completion of B.Ed the candidates must appear for other exams to become eligible for entry in govt schools e.g The Teacher Eligibility test (TETs) in order to join the Kendriya Vidyalaya or Sarvodaya Vidyalaya.
